The thing that makes Nokia N95 unique from other Smart Phones is that it comes pre-configured with the Accelerometer Motion Sensor (a feature initially kept hidden by Nokia). The special thing about the Accelerometer is its ability to make any device motion respondent on which it is run and it does exactly the same on Nokia N95.

Developers have started work on Symbian applications that use the Accelerometer Motion Sensoring features through its public API but only a few cool known apps have emerged until now.
S60Tips has compiled a very sweet list of all the Symbian S60 applications that use the Accelerometer. These applications need the Nokia N95 Accelerometer Plugin Package(N95AccelerometerPlugin.sis) to run on your Nokia N95 Phone.

Here is a list of all these applications and games along with their download links:
- NokMote application will make your Nokia N95 to work just as a WiiMote which means that you will be able to select menu and choose options on your device through hand movements. The final version is due in late December and will be free to use and distribute.
- RotateMe is another application being developed by the creator of NokMote. It will allow you to switch between landscape and portrait screen modes using level sensor instead of manually choosing the mode through options (Just like the iPhone). As you tilt you phone, the modes will change automatically from landscape to portrait and vice versa.
- LightSaber is more like a fun application. Have a light-saber sound on your Nokia N95 just like Darth Vader in Star Wars. This produces sounds according to your phone movements.
- Inclinometer is a cool little application will help you while you in your car. Keep it on the dashboard and it will tell you about the level of your car.
- Accelerinvaders is a game developed using the Accelerometer API. Control your ship using hand movements and protect your ship from alien attack.
- ShutUp is a very simple application by Samir. When the phone is ringing (alarm, call…), silence it simply by physically flipping the phone over.
- Level Tool is an application that allows you to use your phone as a level tool.
- Ball Game is a very simple ball game in which you have to guide a set of balls through a marble maze.
- Nokia 95 DJ lets you simulate the iPhone DJ mode on your Nokia N95.
- Rock and Scroll is an application made by Keynetik. Functions like the Nokmote but has better sensitivity levels.
- ShakeSMS allows you to read SMS messages just by tilting your Nokia N95 phone.
- FlipSilent is a N95 app that will silent your mobile just by flipping it.
- NiiMe lets you control your computer mouse cursor or play games using the Nokia N95 bluetooth without any physical connection.
- PyaccelerRometer N95 accelerometer based remote controller for mplayer on Gnu/Linux machines.
All of these applications have been personally tested by me and seem to work perfectly fine (except for the NokMote which is not out yet)
These all Apps are available in the Accelerometer Apps Label
